Introduction

AryaWealth ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, available on iOS for iPad and iPhone.

Information We Collect

Data you provide: Portfolio holdings, transaction data, brokerage credentials (encrypted), bank account details (encrypted), watchlist selections, goal parameters, property details, and any information entered into the AI chat assistant.

Data stored on your device: All portfolio and financial data is stored locally on your device using AES-256-GCM encryption. Bank account fields are additionally encrypted at the field level when cloud sync is enabled. Credentials are stored exclusively in the Apple Keychain. If you enable iCloud sync, encrypted data may be stored in your private iCloud container.

API keys: You provide your own API keys for third-party services (e.g., AI models, market data providers). These keys are stored securely in the Apple Keychain and are never transmitted to AryaWealth servers.

Open banking: If you connect an Akahu account (NZ), your bank account balances and transactions are fetched directly from Akahu using tokens you provide. These tokens are stored in the Apple Keychain. AryaWealth does not act as an intermediary.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the App's core functionality: portfolio tracking, performance analysis, AI-powered insights, net worth tracking, projections, research tools, tax analysis, real estate analysis, and report generation. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the App's features.

Third-Party Services

The App may connect to third-party services you explicitly configure, including brokerage integrations (Sharesight, SnapTrade), open banking providers (Akahu), AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI), and market data APIs. Data transmitted to these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. All connections use certificate pinning to prevent interception.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your portfolio data is never transmitted to AryaWealth-operated servers. The only external data transmission occurs when you initiate a connection to a third-party service you have configured.

Data Security

We employ industry-leading security measures including AES-256-GCM encryption for all stored data, field-level AES-256-GCM encryption for bank account data synced to CloudKit, Apple Keychain for credential storage, certificate pinning on all API connections (10 domains), and biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID / Optic ID) support.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by removing the App from your device, or by using the in-app data management features. We retain no copies of your data on any server.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and made available within the App.
